The Connect Point Team in Abbachurch has a vital responsibility that extends beyond mere formalities. It involves creating an environment where everyone feels embraced, valued and more importantly, at home. As part of our Connect Point team, you will be responsible for:

Welcoming and seating: warmly greet congregants as they arrive, making them feel at ease. They guide attendees to their seats, ensuring everyone finds a comfortable place to worship.

Providing information: offer valuable details, such as the order of service, upcoming events, and any special instructions. Help guests navigate the worship experience.

Maintaining order: during services, the team might help to maintain order by assisting with seating arrangements, handle latecomers, and ensure a respectful atmosphere.

Safety and security: this team plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the congregation. They are attentive to emergencies, assist with evacuations if needed, and address any security concerns.

Hospitality and community: By creating a welcoming atmosphere, the team contributes to the church’s hospitality efforts. They foster a sense of community among worshippers, spreading God’s love and grace.
